11's - Coach Keva Putnam
Coach Putnam played volleyball at Adena High School where she was a 3 year starting outside hitter and a member of the 1993 State Runner Up team.    She started at Shawnee State until injury sidelined her.     She has been coaching the 10's and 11's at  SOVC for 6 years.

12's - Coach Cadie Cory
Coach Cory played volleyball at Adena High School from 2008 - 2011.   She was a 3 year letterwinner and 3 year starting setter (sidelined her sophomore season due to knee surgery).  She was an All-Ohio First Team selection her senior year and played in the Division III state tournament in 2009 (State Runner Up) and 2011.   She was the SVC player of the year in 2010 and 2011.    Cadie began playing on SOVC teams in the 6th grade where she was one of the original Weasels.      Cadie has helped at Adena volleyball youth camps and has worked with SOVC youth teams as well.   She is a student at OU-C.

13 American - Coach Laura Smith
Coach Smith has coached at SOVC since 1999 and has served as director since 2004.   She has 28 years head coaching experience at Adena High School and her teams have won numerous league championships and have made 5 state championship appearances.   26 Adena volleyball players have been named All Ohio during her tenure.   She was inducted into the OHSVCA Hall of Fame in 2009, was honored as OHSVCA Division III Coach of the Year in 1993.     Coach Smith's love of volleyball began during her high school years at Adena where she was a 4 year letterwinner and was a starter on  the 1975 and 1976 Class A State Volleyball Championship teams.     Coach Smith is IMPACT, ASEP and CAP I certified.

13's - Coach Aaron Ridenour
Coach Ridenour has 22 years coaching experience with a career record of 353-219.  He coached 6 years at Clark State Community College(1989-1994); served as varsity coach at Madison Plains, Bloom-Carroll and  is currently at Unioto High School.  He has multiple league and district coach of the year awards including 2005 OHSVCA State Coach of the Year in division III.   Coach Ridenour has 17 years experience as a club volleyball coach.

13's - Coach McKensie Smith
Coach Smith played volleyball at Amanda-Clearcreek High School and also played club ball on a national team at COVBC.  She then continued her career at Muskingum University where she was a four year letterman.   She was named Ohio Athletic Conference Honorable Mention during her junior year.     While at Muskingum, she assisted Coach Zicha at summer volleyball camps and ran club volleyball tournaments.   Coach Smith also coached club at ABBA volleyball club for returning home to join the staff at SOVC.

14's -  Coach Cyndi Davis
Coach Davis played volleyball at Zane Trace H.S. where she was a 4 year letterman.   She was all league and ZT MVP.  Coach Davis was a starter for the OU-C volleyball team from 1985-1987.  She started her coaching career in 2006 as Zane Trace varsity assistant and has been the JV coach at Unioto from 2007 to the present and has coached SOVC for the last 6 years.  Coach Davis is IMPACT and CAP I certified.

15's - Coach Donna Atchison
Coach Atchison's volleyball career started at Adena High School as a member of the 1975 and 1976 Class A State Volleyball Championship teams.  Her coaching career began at Paint Valley High School where she started as a junior high coach, then JV coach, and worked her way to the Varsity coaching position.   Her teams won several SVC junior high and SVC junior varsity championships.  At the Varsity level, a regional runner up finish earned her an OHSVCA Coaches Achievement Award.     After her time at Paint Valley,  she returned to her alma mater to serve as junior varsity coach where she continues her work with the Adena volleyball program.    She is IMPACT and CAP I certified and serves as the Assistant Director of SOVC.

15's - Coach Tiffany Dailey
Coach Dailey was a four varsity starter and 3 year all-league player at Paint Valley High School.  She played for SOVC for 6 years.   She continued her playing career at Shawnee State University where she was the starting libero for 3 seasons.  While at Shawnee, her team qualified to Nationals 3 times.    Coach Dailey was a NAIA scholar athlete 3 times, holds Shawnee State records for career, season and most digs in a match and is also ranked 16th in the nation (NAIA) for most digs in a match with 50.    Coach Dailey was an assistant coach at SOVC last season.

16's - Coaches Chad Knight and Lollie Knight
Coach  Chad Knight graduated from Paint Valley High School where he was a standout athlete.   His Mother was a long time assistant volleyball coach at Paint Valley, so Chad has been in the volleyball gym for a long time.     Coach Lollie Knight graduated from Adena High School where she played as a setter.    The Coach Knights have coached the Varsity/Junior Varsity at Paint Valley High School and are currently serving on the coaching staff at Adena.

16's - Coach Jimmy Hutton
Coach Hutton has been coaching SOVC for 12 years.  He has coach levels 10's through 18's.  Coach Hutton's 18's team won gold in the gold tournament at OVR regionals in 2011 and finished 2nd in 2012.    He coached at the varsity level at Zane Trace High School in 2003-2004, then moved to Adena to coach the 7th grade team from 2005-2011.  He is also involved with COVA, where he played competitive volleyball for the past 10 years.   Coach Hutton is IMPACT and ASEP certified.

17's - Coach Paul Tanedo
Coach Tanedo has been coaching at SOVC since 1995.   He spent 5 years with Chillicothe High School; JV coach from 2008 - 2010 and Varsity Assistant, 2011-2012.    His playing career with COVA (Chillicothe Outdoor Volleyball Association) goes back 26 years.  He was COVA City Champion in 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1996 and 1997.   He recorded the Most Wins in a single season in 1991 with 46 and was named Defensive Player of the Year in 1992 as well as outstanding setter in 1991 and 1992; and outstanding server in 1991.     Coach Tanedo also played USAV indoor from 1994-2001.   Coach Tanedo is IMPACT certified for indoor and beach, CAP I certified and was a court coach for the USAV High Perforrmance Tryout in Indianapolis in 2012.    In 2010, Coach Tanedo's team won the gold medal in the GOLD championship at the OVR regionals.   Coach Tanedo serves as the Chairman of the Executive Committee.

18's - Coach Josh Hixon
Coach Hixon began his coaching career as an SOVC assistant to Coach Laura Smith in 2005.   Coach Hixon has coached SOVC teams on his own since 2009.    He has also served as the Freshman coach and Varsity assistant at Adena High School.
